We hope the following information is helpful to new marine modellers
Simplistically there are three materials used to make hulls. Plastic which come in various forms and are often found in kit boats, fiberglass or GRP hulls, sometimes found in kits but often sold as bare hulls or semi kits and timber including balsa hulls usually produced by the modeller. The following links provide some information on where to access GRP hulls. This list is not exhaustive and if you know of other sources that may assist fellow modellers please email the web master on admin@newcastlemarinemodellers.org.
The Club has a limited number of moulds with which to make GRP hulls contact admin@newcastlemarinemodellers.org for further details
